Witches Legs
Patti got us together to make quilt blocks of witches feet. Each of us made nine blocks and then traded them. This is the one that I made. I still haven't put them together. Patti's looks great and it was a fun project to do. I learned a lot. It really worked great having a walking foot to sew on the vinyl boots. I will post them all when I get them put together in a Halloween wall hanging.
Brad Daddy and Halloween Cards 2009
Harvest Pumpkins
These are easy pumpkins to make for Halloween or Thanksgiving. You can use scrapbook paper or make them all the same color. Children like to make them and add faces. You can make them smaller and use them for place cards on your Thanksgiving table. To make them cut the paper to the size that you would like. I think that these are 1 1/2 inches by 8 inches. There are 8 strips. Stack them together and punch a hole in each end. Put brads in each hole. Start pulling them apart in the middle until they are all fanned out. Add a die cut leaf or two and put thru the top brad. Curl some paper strips with some scissors or wrap around a pencil. Stick to leaves with a glue dot. When you are thru with them just fold them up and store in an envelop for next year or toss.
Tag exchange
Our family, the Secrists-Diana and her sisters, her daughters, and Naomi Roe did a Christmas Tag exchange. We each made 40 tags. It was interesting to see the many cute ideas everyone did for their tags. We all have enough tags to last for many Christmases.
